You've written a book, attended critique groups, even had your mom read your manuscript, but now you need an unbiased opinion (sorry, Mom). Is it publishable? How much more work do I need to do before it's ready?

A manuscript critique is a report containing comments made by an industry professional about your style of writing, characterization, plot, flow, themes, pacing, humor, and more. Yes, it's one person's assessment (we encourage you to get more than one critique done by multiple readers), but a manuscript critique can be a great starting point to figuring out what your story needs before you submit it to publishers.

We only do manuscript critiques for completed books at Bookwitchery. No single chapters.
